For the most part, medical personnel do a terrific job with the medical piece. What the initial research indicates is that medical personnel could provide a huge value to the families by having a clear understanding of the needs of those families.

As we move forward, the stories of families, the educational curricular component for teachers and the published research will provide medical staff with methods and ideas to help families.

Medical staff can also share their thoughts and experiences where they have experienced successful methods of coping with difficult the difficulties that surface for families of children with special needs.
